The Artist Growth Score is a free 0-100 metric that measures an artist's current growth trajectory on Spotify based on followers, popularity, release momentum, catalog depth, and algorithmic readiness.

How is the growth score calculated?

We analyze five dimensions: fan base size (followers), Spotify popularity index, release momentum (recency and volume of releases), catalog depth, and algorithmic readiness signals. Each dimension is weighted and combined into a 0-100 composite score.

What score is considered good?

Scores 70-100 indicate strong growth signals and high algorithmic potential. Scores 40-69 show moderate momentum with room to grow. Scores below 40 suggest an early-stage artist who would benefit from more consistent releases and promotion.
